Visit our Practice Areas section and see if we can help you. If we can, Contact Us and let us know.
And if we can't, please bookmark our site; we may be able to in the future.
We recognize that in today's environment litigation is sometimes required, even if it is rarely desired.
We make every effort to litigate cases in an efficient and cost-effective manner by evaluating each case
objectively, determining and doing what must be done to bring it to resolution, and avoiding those unnecessary
exercises and expenses that can be avoided. On request, we can provide our clients with an estimated budget,
and we provide copies of all relevant documents which we generate or receive, and frequent e-mail updates on
the status of their action. Our prior experience and expertise include the prosecution and defense of lawsuits
in the following areas:
Real estate litigation, including breach of contract and specific performance actions, quiet title actions, and boundary disputes
Commercial and industrial unlawful detainer and other landlord-tenant disputes
Construction defect litigation
Commercial contracts
Collection actions
Insurance defense, coverage disputes and insurance bad faith claims
Wrongful termination of employment
Corporate or partnership disputes, including minority shareholder litigation
Bankruptcy adversary actions
Few events create more grief for the commercial property owner, landlord or asset manager than when a tenant "goes bad".
In today's economy, the highest priority must be to ensure that the commercial tenant pays its rent in full and on time,
and taking swift, efficient and cost-effective action should the tenant fail to do so.
We concentrate on the representation of landowners, developers, and asset managers. We understand the needs of the
commercial landlord, and the pressures those needs place on its fee-based manager. The landlord and its manager need
prompt action, responsiveness, and results at a fair price. We are thoroughly familiar with the unlawful detainer
process and implement the measures necessary to re-take possession and to proceed to judgment in as prompt a manner as possible
We are committed to assisting the commercial landlord in achieving its success. Our Links page will provide you with
access to the information that the commercial landlord needs to protect its interests.
In addition to our real estate litigation and landlord-tenant services, we provide a variety of transactional services to
owners, developers, landlords, property managers and brokers. Those services include:
Construction disputes, including the defense and prosecution of claims for breach of construction contract,
mechanic's liens, and construction defect litigation
Commercial, industrial and residential leases
Real estate purchase and sale agreements
Homeowner association disputes, including those arising out of the interpretation and enforcement of
community association documents, including Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (“CC&Rs”)
Real estate financing
Partnership and joint venture agreements
Private real estate offerings
Zoning, regulatory and other land use matters
Real estate broker disputes
Real estate arbitration and mediation
